The Royal Livingstone Hotel

The River Club, Livingstone

The River Club is situated on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River, 18 kilometres upstream from Victoria Falls. The River Club has a distinct Edwardian flavour, and guests here enjoy the sights and sounds of Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River in a peaceful and tranquil setting away from the crowds. Ten luxury, thatched chalets overlook the Zambezi River and completely open in the front giving guests the best possible views of the Zambezi. Daily trips to the Falls, a Zambezi cruise, tiger fishing and sundowner trips are offered. The Zambezi National Park is located just across the river, and elephants can be seen on the river bank, whilst Hippos are regularly sighted (and heard) along the river's edge.

Sausage Tree Camp, Lower Zambezi Valley

Sausage Tree Camp is located on the banks of the Zambezi River, at the heart of the Lower Zambezi National Park. Only the very highest international standards in luxury and service are offered and are combined with this truly classic African wildlife experience. Sausage Tree Camp offers a large range of game-viewing activities including: game-drives (both day and night), walking safaris, canoeing, boating and fishing for the world-renowned "Tiger fish". The camp’s "French trained" chef creates cuisine from his bush kitchen that has given him the reputation as one of Zambia’s finest chef’s. The accommodation consists of six Bedouin-style white canvas tents, each with private open-air bathrooms.

Nkwali, Luangwa Valley

Nkwali is a lovely lodge located on Robin Pope`s private land accommodating 12 guests in en suite reed and thatch chalets overlooking the Luangwa River. The land is superb game viewing country, with a beautiful area of ebony woodland and open grass plains. Elephants often cross the Luangwa River, seen from the bar, or come to the waterhole near the thatched dining room.

Busanga Bush Camp, Kafue National Park

Busanga Bush Camp lies in the heart of the Busanga Plains, a wildlife paradise that is situated in the northern region of the Kafue National Park, one of the largest national parks in Africa. The Busanga Plains covers an area of approximately 750 square kilometres and is one of Zambia's most significant wetland resources. Busanga Bush Camp in the north-western section and is about as 'wild' as you can get in today's world: an unfenced mosaic of expansive grassy seasonal floodplains. It caters for six guests in three well-appointed rooms with wall-to-wall views of the spectacular wildlife that frequents the plain in front of the camp. Activities include day and night game drives, led by qualified guides who are extremely knowledgeable about the area and its wildlife. This camp is perfectly situated to see large numbers of plains game and their predators - including some of the best lion and cheetah viewing in Africa!
