Ngorongoro Crater

The Ngorongoro Crater is often called ‘Africa’s Eden’ and is the main drawcard for tourists coming to Tanzania and a definite world-class attraction. The famous Ngorongoro Crater is a World Heritage Site situated at the eastern edge of the Serengeti in northern Tanzania. The crater is the largest unbroken ancient volcanic crater in the world - a haven for a rich mix of game such as lion, buffalo, elephant, Thomson’s gazelles and rhino. CCA (Conservation Corporation Africa) feature the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge which is the most exclusive property in this area, perched on the rim of the crater.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park is easily Tanzania’s most famous and largest protected national park which borders Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park. Famous for the most epic journey of wildebeest and zebra, trampling through the vast savannah of the Serengeti National Park and Masai Mara that attracts visitors from around the world, who flock to the open plains to witness the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet. More than a million animals make the seasonal journey to fresh pastures to the north, then the south, after the biannual rains. The sound of their thundering hooves, raising massive clouds of thick red dust, has become one of the legends of the Serengeti plains. Grumeti River Camp, owned by CC Africa is situated in the remote western section of the Serengeti National Park and is witness to this momentous experience as the Game cross the Gremeti River while the huge crocodiles lay in wait. Kleins Camp is situated in Northern Serengeti and offers a private wildlife experience, having leased a private concession from the Maasai Landlords.

Mount Kilimanjaro

Kilimanjaro is the world's highest mountain in Africa, located in Northern Tanzania that borders Kenya. Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro is a heavy challenge, more from the rigours of altitude than the actual difficulty of the hike itself. The climb, which takes on average five days, takes hikers through thick forests and alpine grasslands, desolate rockface and brilliant white glaciers spanning five different ecological zones. The climb does not require ropes or climbing equipment, while the views of Masai Steppe, crater highlands and Meru are a sight to behold.

There are a number of routes available to climb Kilimanjaro with the Marangu Route being the most popular, offering a gentler ascent, taking in the longest approach to the mountain. Whichever route you decide to embark on, it is strongly recommended to acclimatize prior to the climb.
