St Anne Resort and Spa, Private Island

The Sainte Anne Resort is a perfect all round resort, excellent accommodation and facilities is what you will come to expect from this Beachcomber resort. Located just 10 minutes boat ride from Mahé, the transfer is quick, yet you have your own private island, so sought after in the Indian Ocean. The Villa Providence’s are outstanding, with spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and your own private gazebo. There are two excellent restaurants on Sainte Anne, Le Mont Fleuri and dramatically situated on a granite edge and the L'Abondance Restaurant, alternatively you can dine in the privacy of your own Villa. Snorkelling, scuba diving, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, and glass bottom boat trips are all available, as is the opportunity to explore the island on foot through the many nature trails. For that extra indulgence why not treat yourself to a wonderful Clarin’s Spa treatment.

I loved every minute of my visit to St Anne and the menu at Le Mont Fleuri Restaurant was the best I have experienced in the Seychelles. Walk beneath the Royal Villa and catch a glimpse of the baby sharks that brush up against the coral reef.

Banyan Tree Resort, Mahe Island

Nestled in Intendance Bay with spectacular views of the Indian Ocean, one of the world's most beautiful powder beaches, swaying palm trees and lush tropical forest, Banyan Tree Seychelles provides a rare taste of paradise. For the very best of Seychellois architecture, its stunning pool villas combine contemporary, colonial and 'plantation' décor; from high sloping ceilings, airy verandas and louvered doors to ethnic woven textiles. The eclectic villa interiors provide a true sense of place - allowing you to experience Banyan Tree's signature blend of romance, rejuvenation and exotic sensuality in Seychellois style. Sample delicious Creole delicacies at Au Jardin D'Epices where you can sink your teeth into succulent seafood creations and experience the fine blend of spices, coconut dishes and curries the Seychelles are famous for.

Fregate Island, Private Island

Frégate Island has 16 villas, restricting the number of guests to a maximum of 40 at any one time. The island remains exclusive to its guests - with each villa positioned to ensure ultimate privacy. The villas are built of native mahogany and blend harmoniously into the natural surroundings. Each villa has a large terrace with a day bed and jacuzzi as an extension of the living area.
