My first ever game drive at Savanna Private Game Reserve was taken by the manager - Paddy Hagelthorn. I was very fortunate to witness his ability to seek out the game and anticipate their every move, a truly phenomenal experience. I can fully appreciate the accolades he receives from the numerous Game Rangers in the region.
Ulusaba Private Game Reserve
Owned by Sir Richard Branson, Ulusaba Private Game Reserve is set in the heart of the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, bordering the sprawling Kruger National Park. Ulusaba Private Game Reserve is the epitome of luxury safari travel, featuring the Safari Lodge, with its tree house style accommodation hidden within dense bush offering views of a waterhole and the Rock Lodge which is perched high upon a rocky summit, that exposes you to spectacular panoramic views of the expansive bush below, the roaming game and the majestic Drakensberg Mountain range in the distance.
A memory of Ulusaba Game Reserve still so vivid was returning from a Game drive to stumble upon two beautiful Leopard Cubs wandering inquisitively along the balcony of the stilted restaurant at Ulusaba Safari Lodge.
Shamwari Private Game Reserve

Marataba Private Game Reserve

Marataba Private Game Reserve ranks as one of my very own most picturesque Safari experiences I have been lucky to witness. The Mountains and the sunsets were truly memorable. Watching the 13 newly released Wild Dog on a kill was pretty special likewise!
