Little Kulala, Sossusvlei

Little Kulala the flagship of Namibia's extraordinary Sossusvlei area, has for several years been attracting informed travellers, who enjoy the first-rate facilities, charming hospitality and nearby proximity to the towering sand dunes. This acclaimed Wilderness Safaris desert retreat, has climate-controlled villas and an elegant entertainment area that includes al fresco fine dining. The 11 stylish thatched villas merge impeccably into the timeless desert landscape, with exquisite fittings and fixtures, innovative bleached decks each with a private plunge pool. The extensive use of neutral colours, gorgeous textures and natural light reproduce the soothing pastel tones of the desert.

Prize yourself away from the comforts within your stylish villa and take the steps up to the intriguing rooftop 'skybed' for a novel way of sleeping under the stars

Damaraland Camp, Damaraland

Situated on the northern face of the Huab River Valley and looking south toward the imposing Brandberg Mountains, Damaraland Camp offers its guests endless vistas. This comfortable and friendly camp offers walks and drives in one of the best wilderness areas in Namibia. Although wildlife is not concentrated, Damaraland Camp is situated where the rare Desert Elephant roams, alongside Oryx, Springbok, Ostrich and other hardy desert animals. Damaraland Camp has 10 tented rooms each with an en-suite bathroom including flush toilet and shower with hot and cold running water

Serra Cafema, Kunene River

Serra Cafema Camp situated in one of the most remote destinations in all of Africa, offering one of the most memorable experiences. Perched on the banks of the Kunene River, it shares this region with the wonderful and colourful Himba people, some of the last true nomadic people of Africa. The camp has 9 canvas and thatched chalets on decks, each with its own en-suite bathroom. Activities include traversing the sand dunes on carefully guided quad-bike excursions that tread lightly on the dunes and boating on the Kunene River.

As we disembarked from our light aircraft for the road transfer to Serra Cafema I could never imagine the feeling of adulation I was soon to experience as we drove through moonscaped barren terrain, stopping at a vantage point to witness the amazing setting of Serra Cafema Camp, nestled between the steeped desert sand dunes and the lush oasis of the Kunene River.

Skeleton Coast Camp, Skeleton Coast Park

Namibia's Skeleton Coast is one of the most beautiful places in the world and is now host to one of the finest safari camps. The Skeleton Coast Camp is a 12-bedded, luxury tented camp that offer superb 4 or 5 day fly-in safaris to this incredible area, with guaranteed departures every Wednesday and Saturday. Skeleton Coast Camp is a six-roomed luxury tented camp in the heart of Skeleton Coast Park within the private concession area. It is built on an island in the dry Khumib riverbed, about 20km inland from the coastline.

The terrain is rugged and harsh; hence this camp will be enjoyed by those who are looking for a true wilderness experience, in some of the most spectacular scenery in southern Africa.

Little Ongava, Etosha National Park

Little Ongava Camp is nestled in the private 66 000 acre Ongava game reserve and shares a common boundary with Etosha National Park, perched on the crest of a hill with wonderful views onto the plains below. Enjoy unrivalled privacy with only three spacious suites, each with private plunge pool, en-suite bathroom, a sala, and outdoor shower with views of the waterhole in front of camp. Little Ongava's entertainment area lends itself to relaxed, stylish dining.A kaleidoscope of African wildlife can be seen at many of the water holes in the Park and the reserve has resident White and Black Rhino plus a healthy predator population. Guests share a dedicated guide, ensuring the optimum nature experience at one of Africa's great wilderness destinations.

This is a stunning intimate lodge which could be a perfect stay for a small group wanting understated luxury and ultimate privacy. Ongava Game Reserve is also home to Ongava Main Lodge and the more rustic Ongava Tented Camp.
