Holidays to Namibia

Damaraland Camp, Namibia
Kulala Desert Lodge, Namibia
Desert Elephant, Namibia

Namibia sidles between the Namib and the Kalahari Desert and boasts of vast pristine landscapes, rugged unspoilt scenery and a wildlife experience like no other. The people of Namibia have been past influenced by Germany, England and South Africa, but still keeping a very Germanic feel in some of the frontier towns. In addition to this, you can encounter some rare and wonderful sightings of the local tribes such as Himba, San and even the colourful Herero female tribe that roam this sparse region.

Animals of Namibia

The harsh desolate terrain has dealt a tough lesson in survival to the game frequenting this region; only here will you see the Desert Adapted Elephants tramping the stark plains of Damaraland, Oryx climbing the formidable sand dunes of Sossusvlei and the numerous seal colonies that flank the remote Skeleton Coast.

Namibian Scenery

Namibia contains a lovely blend of scenery, from the towering Sossusvlei Sand Dunes to the Fish River Canyon and the hauntingly remote Skeleton Coast. The infusion of Game in Etosha Game Reserve when the salt pan turns to a glimmering lake during the much needed rain season is something to behold.

Travelling around Namibia

Due to the vastness of the country Namibia is more commonly travelled by light aircraft. Providing adequate research has been done, it is possible to self drive this momentous country, alternatively enjoy a luxury mobile safari expedition.
