Safaris in Botswana

It is hard to put in words the beauty, remoteness and pure Wilderness experience that envelopes you when visiting Botswana for a Luxury Safari Holiday. Wildlife and game reserves make up more than a third of the Country, and combined with Botswana’s marketing ethos of high quality, low volume travel; it creates an impressive sustainable industry. As a result of this, Botswana’s tourist trade has allowed the country to become one of the most affluent, friendly and stable Countries in Africa. Safaris in Botswana are, in our opinion, unrivalled throughout the rest of Africa.
Okavango Delta
The Okavango Delta is Africa's largest and most beautiful oasis. The River flows from the Angolan Highlands and disperses over the arid Kalahari Desert, creating this unique phenomenon. Accommodation in the Okavango Delta include intimate luxury tented safari camps, such as Duba Plains, Jao and Stanley’s Camp with properties such as Chitabe Camp offering tailor made walking safaris with overnight stays in purpose built hides.
Moremi Game Reserve
Located in the heart of the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve is a haven for photographic safaris. Mombo Camp is a Premier Wilderness Safari Camp situated off the northern tip of Chiefs Island, offering one of the best Game viewing experiences in Botswana. Completely surrounded by the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve offers the perfect Mokoro Trail experience with Xigera Safari Camp specialising in 2-3 day self-contained guided trails through remote estuaries, setting up camp on convenient Island locations.
Linyanti Game Reserve
The Linyanti Game Reserve borders the furthest corner of Chobe National Park and compliments the Okavango Delta with its varied eco-systems and diverse wildlife. The 125 000 hectare Private Reserve rich in Game is enjoyed by just three intimate Wilderness Safari Camps, Savuti, Duma Tau and the Premier Camp, Kings Pool.
The MakgadikGadi Pans
The Makgadikgadi Pans contrast dramatically with the lush scenery and rich game experience of the Okavango Delta and Linyanti Game Reserve. The Lunar appearance and sparse surroundings offer a unique wildlife experience such as Brown Hyaena, Springbok, Meerkat, and possibly Black-mained Lion. During the dry season, Jack’s Camp offers activities such as quad biking and walking with the San Bushmen. During the wet season a dramatic transformation occurs with the arrival of the Pink clouds of flamingos and the vast herds of zebra and wildebeest that migrate to the now lush savannah.
